Jakob es el Presidente de GSR. Antes de unirse a GSR, fue Jefe de negocio de EMEA en Two Sigma Investments y director de la junta de Two Sigma International. Tiene más de una década de experiencia desarrollando soluciones de negocio e inversión en gestión de inversiones sistemáticas, incluyendo roles en Winton Capital Management y Barclays Global Investors (BGI). Jakob posee una Licenciatura en Economía de la Universidad de Lund y ha completado los cursos de maestría en Economía (sin tesis). También tiene un Título de Oficial de Buques, Clase VIII de la Universidad Tecnológica de Chalmers.
