BMXは、BitMart取引所によって発行されたERC20ベースのトークンで、総発行量は10億です。2017年12月にBMCとして初めて発行され、BitMartは2018年1月にトークン名をBMXに変更しました。スマートコントラクトおよびブロックエクスプローラーに表示されるシンボル名はBMCですが、実際に使用しているシンボル名はBMXです。その理由は、当トークンは当初BMCと命名されましたが、後に「BMC」が別のプロジェクトで使用されていることが判明したため、トークンのシンボル名を「BMX」に変更する必要があったためです。
