STRDはStrideブロックチェーンのガバナンストークンであり、その意思決定構造の重要な構成要素として機能します。STRD保有者はトークンをステークし、STRDと流動性ステーキングトークンから得られる報酬の両方で構成される報酬を得ることができます。このトークンにより、ユーザーはバリデータ選出やチェーンアップグレードなどの事項に関する投票を含む、オンチェーンガバナンスプロセスに積極的に参加できます。 StrideがInterchain Security（ICS）を採用しても、その中核機能は維持されます。STRD保有者は引き続きトークンをステークして報酬を受け取ることができ、その報酬はSTRDと流動性ステーキングト ークンから得られる報酬の組み合わせです。これにより、バリデータ選出やアップグレードなどの選択に影響を与えるオンチェーン上の決定や投票プロセスに積極的に関与できます。 持続可能性を確保するため、ステーキング報酬としてのSTRDの発行は元のトークノミクスから半分に減少しました。ステーキング報酬の一部（15%）はCosmos Hubと共有され、2つのエコシステム間の協力を促進します。STRDトークンは、Strideの進化する状況において、ガバナンスへの影響力とステーキング機会の柱として不可欠であり続けます。
