Tokamak Networkは、Ethereumメインチェーンと同等の分散化とセキュリティを保証しつつ、高いスケーラビリティと拡張性をサポートするプラットフォームです。各DappはTokamak Networkを通じて特定の目的のために簡単に構築されます。 Tokamak Networkでは、各Dappが独自のチェーンで動作します。Plasma ChainsはTokamak Protocolを介してEthereumのメインチェーンに接続されます。 TONは、Tokamak Plasma Chainを正しく分散化するためのインセンティブとして使用されます。サービスオペレーターはPlasma Chainを開設するためにTONを預け入れる必要があります。チェーンが適切に動作すれば、この預金は徐々に増加します。しかし、チェーンに技術的な問題が発生し、問題を発見した人物が異議を申し立てた場合、その預金は報酬としてその人物（チャレンジャー）に渡ります。 さらに、TONはPlasma Chainの取引手数料であるスタミナのチャージにも使用されます。スタミナは一定期間後に再チャージされ、引き出されるまで消えることはありません。
