Carl HuaはReforgeのマネージングパートナーであり、以前はShima CapitalのCTO兼インベストメントパートナー、Celsius Networkのチーフアーキテクトでした。それ以前は、CarlはRippleのオープンソース/デベロッパープラットフォーム事業部門であるRippleXの研究開発を主導しました。また、Ripple在籍中にC++（XRP Ledger）チームを共同管理しました。Ripple以前は、CarlはLogos NetworkのCTOを務めていました。Logos Networkは第一層の高性能ブロックチェーン企業で、後にRippleに買収されました。キャリアの初期には、JPL NASAのEuropaミッション向けの次世代リアルタイム飛行ソフトウェアに貢献しました。また、Northrop Grummanで飛行ソフトウェアを開発するエンジニアリングチームを率いた経験もあります。
