SergeyはInterop LabsのCEO、Axelarの共同創業者、ウォータールー大学の助教授です。彼は、信頼できない分散環境で新しいアプリケーションを可能にする暗号プリミティブ、プロトコル、システムの構築に興味を持っています。MITで博士号を取得し、Microsoft Ph.D.フェローでもありました。また、トロント大学で修士号と学士号を取得しています。博士論文では、格子ベースの暗号を用いたクラウド向け暗号ツールの作成に焦点を当て、MITコンピュータサイエンス学科の最優秀論文賞であるSprowls Doctoral Thesis Awardを受賞しました。Algorandの創業チームの一員として、ビジネスおよび技術面のさまざまな側面に関与し、暗号グループを統括しました。さらに、IBM T.J. Watson Research Centreでも活動しました。
