If we instead created a world govt to manage AI and capitalist orgs, it would oversee maladaptive decay. While in each of its meetings participants might vote for what they saw as flourishing. But as it wouldn't actually be a healthy adaptive process, decay would still result.

But its just not true that w/o such orgs, and the capitalism that drives them, we would by default flourish. Most likely instead our civ would collapse, and most of us would die. We live and prosper instead because we have given rise to a powerful adaptive evolutionary process.
