It's ledger vs. ledger, not chain vs. chain. DTCC's ledger secures $114 trillion of assets. Ethereum can fully replace DTCC. It's that simple. But most are too busy trying to eke a 1.5x out of TradFi partnership announcements--instead of disrupting them to get a 10x.
yeah it's super complicated b/c DTCC isn't even really a business, it's a kind of commons owned by brokers... if Ethereum steals all of DTCC's ledger biz, that doesn't mean Ethereum should be val'd same as DTCC...DTCC is *only* the ledger...Ethereum would be combined ledger/execution/settlement lay
