Moonbeam has announced the migration of GLMR from Polkadot to Base. As previously announced, Bifrost has already sunset the vGLMR service. If you're still holding vGLMR, please redeem it ASAP, then follow Moonbeam's official guide to migrate your GLMR before 31 July 2026.

Bifrost is introducing a new protection layer for cross-chain assets. In the event of abnormal large-scale inflows, assets can be temporarily held before becoming fully transferable. Give governance time to react when something unexpected happens, while keeping normal cross-chain activity running

Bifrost is currently completing the final integration work required to align with Hyperbridge's upgraded architecture. As this process moves forward, cross-chain services for supported vTokens are getting closer to being restored. We'll share further updates as progress continues.
