L2StarkNet é um Layer 2 (L2) validity rollup descentralizado e sem permissão, construído para permitir que Ethereum escale por meio de protocolos criptográficos chamados STARKs, sem comprometer os princípios fundamentais do Ethereum de descentralização, transparência, inclusão e segurança. O StarkNet Token é necessário para operar o ecossistema, mantê-lo e protegê-lo, decidir sobre seus valores e objetivos estratégicos e direcionar sua evolução. Este token será necessário para (i) governança, (ii) pagamento de taxas de transação na StarkNet e (iii) participação no mecanismo de consenso da StarkNet.
