Eli Ben-Sasson é co-fundador da Zcash, co-fundador, CEO e Chairman do Conselho da StarkWare, e Cientista Fundador da Electric Coin Company (também conhecida como Zcash Co). Ele atuou como Professor Associado no Technion - Israel Institute of Technology por sete anos, foi Professor Assistente Visitante no TTI em Chicago e Pesquisador Pós-doutorando no Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Ele possui um Ph.D. em Ciência da Computação pela Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
