Silvio Micali
Founder em Algorand
Silvio Micali recebeu sua Laurea em Matemática pela Universidade de Roma e seu PhD em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade da Califórnia, Berkeley. Desde então, é membro do corpo docente do Departamento de Engenharia Elétrica e Ciência da Computação do MIT. Seus interesses de pesquisa incluem criptografia, zero knowledge, geração pseudo-aleatória, acordo bizantino, protocolos seguros, design de mecanismos e livros-razão distribuídos. Silvio recebeu o Turing Award (em ciência da computação), o Prêmio Gödel (em ciência da computação teórica) e o RSA Prize (em criptografia). Ele é membro da Academia Nacional de Ciências, da Academia Nacional de Engenharia, da Academia Americana de Artes e Ciências e da Accademia dei Lincei. Ele também é o fundador da Algorand LLC, um novo blockchain fundamental desenvolvido do zero com princípios totalmente novos que garantem simultaneamente verdadeira descentralização, escalabilidade e segurança.
