Xin é co-CEO da GSR. Ele está no crypto desde , e antes disso estava em finanças tradicionais por mais de anos, inicialmente como Gerente de Portfólio na equipe de Scientific Active Equities da BlackRock em Londres, desenvolvendo estratégias de investimento quantitativas para um fundo europeu long-only de $bn. Xin se mudou para Xangai para se tornar Chefe de Produto da fintech DealGlobe, posteriormente montando seu próprio hedge fund de derivativos crypto, Magpie Capital, como co-fundador e CEO, antes de ingressar na GSR em para construir a franquia na Ásia. Xin se formou na London School of Economics com um BSc em Business Mathematics and Statistics, e na London Business School com um MBA, especializado em Entrepreneurial Management. Ele também é detentor da certificação CFA.
