Austin Abell 曾任 NEAR Protocol 的軟體開發者及 ChainSafe Systems 的技術主管。他升級了 go-ethereum 經典版的 Atlantis 和 Aghara 硬分叉；開發了 Ethermint（基於 Tendermint 的 EVM），支援現有的 Ethereum 開發工具；並帶領團隊建構了 Forest（一個 Rust 實作的 Filecoin 節點）。
