_Lots_ of technical details were left out of the white paper. It wasn't perfect either: it said Bitcoin was longest chain, which is actually broken; Satoshi had to change that to most work with a secret release in the first year.

The Bitcoin white paper doesn't mention a stable monetary supply because it's obvious that any decentralized currency needs one. Privacy on the other hand was an obvious concern.
