.@Solana is getting faster in ~5 weeks Agave v4.2 (a validator client, by @anza_xyz), staged for August: - 200ms slot times (down from ~400ms) - larger transaction size limits - lower rent it also lays the groundwork for Alpenglow, Solana's new ~150ms-finality consensus.

Great news for all Solana devs 🎉 Our Solana CLI support PR has officially been merged into the @anza_xyz Agave main repository. Getting from submission to merge took several rounds of review, code adjustments, and security tightening. For Keystone, speed matters, but security always matters more
I joined labs in 2021 but didn't post about solana until 2024 because I was low key ashamed of the code. I am now incredibly proud of the code. Agave 4.2 is going to be huge.
