En cuestión de semanas, la broma se convirtió en Buttcoin.org, un blog de parodia que describía una economía 'peer to peer butt' mientras catalogaba desastres de minería, explosiones de intercambios e 'innovaciones' relacionadas con esquemas multinivel.
