Fable 5 cooked hard last night; We have re-engineered MLX’s continuous batching engine towards a more production grade system. 3x improvement in TTFT (higher prefill TPS), 30-40% improvement in decode TPS. That shares the same design space as VLLM and SGLang. Darkbloom will be adopting this.
