Beijing completes massive 1-gigawatt data center running entirely on Chinese-made chips

Chinese AI startup Z.​ai has reportedly completed a 1 gigawatt data center that runs entirely on Chinese-made chips, with no NVIDIA hardware inside. The company has built or operates several computing clusters of more than 10,000 chips each as Beijing pushes to replace restricted US silicon.
