Sebastian Bürgel is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of HOPR and Validity Labs, as well as the Vice President of Technology at Gnosis. After earning his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, he directed his curiosity and energy toward blockchain, smart contracts, and other distributed technologies. He is one of the world's leading architects of decentralized applications, with experience building applications across numerous industries including insurance, real estate, finance, and biomedicine.
