Incentives are available for USDC borrowers on Aave V4’s Prime Hub. Borrow USDC and receive 1% back on your borrow rate, paid in USDC. The Prime Hub supports loans against bluechip collateral at high collateral factors.
The reason is that at Aave we have gone trough multiple market cycles and during down cycles, collateral offboarding is slow without being able to add pricing directly into the collateral asset without affecting other users borrowing the same asset, this is also what risk premiums solve
