Xin is the Co-CEO at GSR. He has been in crypto since , and before that was in traditional finance for over years, initially as an Portfolio Manager in the Scientific Active Equities team at BlackRock in London, developing quantitative investment strategies for a $bn European long-only fund. Xin relocated to Shanghai to become the Head of Product for Fintech startup DealGlobe, subsequently setting up his own crypto derivatives hedge fund Magpie Capital as Co-Founder and CEO, before joining GSR in to build out the Asia franchise. Xin graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Business Mathematics and Statistics, and London Business School with an MBA, specializing in Entrepreneurial Management. He is also a CFA charterholder.
