EVMBNB 是 BNB Chain 生态系统的原生实用代币，作为一种多链资产，为去中心化应用提供动力，并促进其网络上的价值交换。它是支付交易 gas 和智能合约部署费用的主要资产，同时为用户在 Binance 交易所提供分级费用折扣。该项目的主要价值主张在于其统一的多链架构，该架构将智能合约平台、Layer 2 扩容解决方案和去中心化数据存储网络整合为一个统一的结算和数据可用性层。 该网络采用 Proof of Staked Authority 共识机制，由一组 21 个活跃验证者（称为 Cabinet）每 3 秒验证交易并生成区块。验证者根据质押或委托给他们的 BNB 数量每日选举产生，系统采用快速最终性和惩罚机制来维护安全性和完整性。为管理长期经济，该项目采用程序化双销毁策略，通过实时费用销毁和季度回购永久移除代币。 该项目由 Binance 平台于 2017 年启动，最初将其 2 亿代币供应量的 50% 分配给公众，创始团队获得 40%，天使投资者获得 10%。虽然最初是 Ethereum 网络上的代币，但最终迁移到了自己的自主架构，该架构仍与 Ethereum Virtual Machine 完全兼容。如今，该代币的用途包括支付网络 gas、参与质押奖励，以及实现去中心化治理，持有者可以通过投票决定技术升级和经济变更。
